Visit to Bryn Pica

We went to the recycling centre at Bryn Pica to see where our rubbish goes. We also managed a spot of football too!

Can Sing Jamboree at Y Pant

Today, years 5 and 6 took part in a Can Sing Jamboree at Y Pant Comprehensive School. They have been practising for several weeks and their hard work certainly paid off! They were fab!!! The singing was  great and their behaviour was excellent. Well done, you did Llanhari Primary proud!

                      

     

                                 

   

Only Girls Allowed

Year 5 and 6 girls worked extremely well on their Fortune Lines this week. They have a great understanding of the play Romeo and Juliet and were able to discuss Juliet's feelings and emotions. Great work, girls!!!!

Book Week celebrations

Class 6 have had a lovely time celebrating Book Week. They've completed a range of activities and had such fun dressing up on Friday!

Visit from PC Louise

Welcome back to school!
Hope you've all had a lovely Easter break and ready for a busy term ahead!

As you know, we will be celebrating the centenary of the school and we have a lot of exciting things planned. It's also a term of assessments, so keep up the hard work - practise your reading regularly, practise your tables etc.

This week, we had a visit from PC Louise who talked to us about anti-social behaviour. We had to work in groups and design a park of our dreams - but how sad and disappointed were we when people came along and spoilt them!

Remember, anti-social behaviour is wrong, it upsets people and can be against the law!

Let's be good and kind citizens of Llanharry!

Star Lab Experience

We were very lucky to have Techniquest visit us again at the end of term.
This time they brought their Star Lab, which was like a big black igloo!
Inside, we looked at a slide show about the sun, the moon and the planets, and at the end we had a spot of 'star gazing', which was described as 'awesome'!!

Class 6 were very well behaved and they asked and answered a whole range of questions about our Solar System.

I am very proud of the way you listened Class 6, and your answers were brilliant!!
